I’m sure that you all feel it sometimes too. Do you ever just hop on the internet and you feel completely bogged down by negative news left, right and centre? War, disease, rising sea levels, animals going instinct, refugee crisis, gun violence…
Now-first and foremost I’m going to say it’s important to read the bad too! Because we need to be aware about what’s gong on in the world in order to be inspired to catalyze change-but it can all be a little depressing yeah?

3. Youth are saying enough is enough with disrespecting our beautiful world-and they’re realizing the importance of protecting it! A prime example of this is trash girl.
This 12 year old girl is making a statement and being brave. I’m sure almost everyone can recall how it feels to be bullied as a kid-definitely not nice-but this girl isn’t going to let bullies stop her and is collecting trash as a way to stand up to the 300 million tons of plastic trash that the world is currently producing annually.
In response to the growing awareness of the importance of ethical treatment of animals Wales has made the decision to ban the use of wild animals in circuses. This is a day of massive importance for animals and it’s impact will hopefully spread across Europe.
5. Cora, rescue turned Therapy working Corgi-see’s stranger in airport and instantly knows he needs some company. This brightened my whole day.
This man had lost his dog before, and somehow this therapy dog knew-and was there to comfort him. I’m weak.
As finding accessible clean drinking water around the world is still one of the biggest problems the poor of the world face-this is such an awesome feat. Technology is amazing.
As the stigma around mental health is decreasing we need to make sure that it’s decreasing in the correct way. This means that we’re understanding that there is nothing wrong with mental illness-and whichever way we choose to treat it!
So there you have it! These are 7 news stories that I thought were big wins for human kind this week! Happy humpday 🙂
